Ahkna attempted to negotiate with Peacekeeper Commandant Mele-on Grayza, entertaining the idea of allowing the Peacekeepers to take control over the Uncharted Territories in exchange for the Luxan Territories. Ultimately, however, Ahkna decided her interest in wormhole weapons far outweighed the benefits of negotiating. She took Grayza captive instead. John Crichton intervened in the peace negotiations, capturing Ahkna's ire as he offered wormhole technology to the highest bidder. Her plans were brought to a halt when the crew of Moya destroyed Katratzi.
When war broke out in the Uncharted Territories, Ahkna pushed for Staleek to win the war -- using all of her cunning to undermine his efforts to find peace. These schemes included efforts to terminate Aeryn Sun's pregnancy while it was being held inside Rygel XVI, and destroying Ka D'Argo's ship Lo'La. With Crichton still free from Scarran hold, and her prospects for the throne growing dimmer, Ahkna followed Crichton to the surface of Qujaga and threatened to kill him -- however, her single-minded focus left her open to an attack from Aeryn -- who fired her weapon into the back of Ahkna's head and killed her.
Ahkna appears in several episodes from the fourth season of Farscape, as well as the min-series Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars.
