Arax Nero was a member of a criminal organization, until his arrest by the Galactic Authority. He became the boss of the prison in which he was serving time, until several members of the crew of the Raza were also imprisoned there.
When they made their escape from the prison, Nero joined them -- briefly -- until revealing his true loyalties. He stole what he believed was the blink drive key from Five, bringing it to Alicia Reynaud. The key, however, proved to be a fake.
As a fugitive now running from the Galactic Authority, the Raza, and Alicia Reynaud, Nero did his best to lie low and was not heard from again.
