Bitaal and Zhaan in Unity
Pa'u Bitaal was the spiritual counselor of the Delvians, and the personal teacher and lover of Zotoh Zhaan. When his tenure as leader of Delvia was over, however, he refused to resign from his position and instead hired the Peacekeepers for "external security" -- which included keeping him in power. Liberals and free thinkers were rounded up, including Zhaan's father, and placed in prison camps.
Fearing for her own life, and realizing she could free Delvia from tyranny, Zhaan shared Unity with Bitaal and killed him during the act.
