Hontovek was a Tavlek mercenary who worked under Bekesh, helping to kidnap Rygel XVI. Aeryn Sun infiltrated Hontovek's hunting party -- though Hontovek triggered a drug fueled rage and she put Hontovek in a chokehold. Hontovek was saved, however, when a nearby John Crichton accidentally set his pulse rifle to overload. The explosion startled Hontovek who, alongside the rest of his hunting party, fled under the belief they were being attacked.
