Lorana was a follower of the Delvian Seek who became a missionary that departed Delvia on the New Moon of Delvia. She was a follower of Tuzak, and then became a follower of Tahleen. Though she was often hesitant to follow Tahleen's commands, she did obey them and was allowed to share Unity with her.
After sharing Unity with John Crichton, however, she came to see how far Tahleen had fallen. She allowed John Crichton to free Pa'u Zotoh Zhaan's mind, and helped them to overcome Tahleen. Once Tahleen had been stripped of her abilities, Crichton and Zhaan left Lorana with a hopeful future. She came to be the leader of the New Moon of Delvia colony.
