Niem was the strong, silent Peacekeeper assistant to Scorpius on his Gammak Base. She was the primary operator of the Aurora Chair, while Scorpius interrogated those strapped into it. However, she did have other duties -- most notably those involving the security of the base. When John Crichton escaped from imprisonment, Niem led the search party and was wholly intent on recapturing him.
Her fate after the destruction of the Gammak Base is unknown.
